3 Day Notice
Pursuant to IC 9-22-1-19, public agency or tow company must notify the owner of the vehicle and any lienholder via certified mail or by means of an electronic service approved by the Bureau.
A public agency or towing service that fails to notify the owner of or lienholder may not collect additional storage costs incurred.
COA/JUNK
If the vehicle's worth is under $1,000, we will fulfill and submit the packet request to BMV to junk the vehicle and obtain a Certificate of Authority.
However, you must meet the requirements of Indiana Code 9-22. This consists of proof of delivery of a certified letter or a certificate of mailing and all prior steps set forth in the BMV Application Check List.
